Earn's managerial -or lack thereof- shenanigan have been building up to this episode since last season.  Now he and Paper Boi's business arrangements could be over.  Phenomblak, MsMusiclover, Twanburgandy  and Xmike make sure to cover it all in detail to show love for this Atlanta that truly is Donald Glover's.

For an episode that doesn't seem to have a whole lot going on, it's a pivotal point in the Earn and Paper Boi's relationship.  Earn talks a weak game, and hasn't put any real points on the board yet, and Alfred is tired of him being slick, jeopardizing both their futures while refusing to take responsibility.  The ass whooping Earn receives is the one Uncle Willy warned him about when speaking to the obvious chip on his shoulder and possibly seeing his former self in life long past, where he could have been something or someone.

Woods is an episode that covers a lot in what feels like a very short amount of time.  Paper Boi, unlike most people who run from themselves, has been stagnant for two seasons now.  His career seems to try and move on without him but that can only get you so much paper before it all catches up to you.  This episode is about making choices to change or waste away into nothing because "the only people who got time are dead" or worrying bout protecting they booty holes!
