Today’s episode takes inspiration from various Stoic sources, as well as Oliver Burkeman’s excellent book Four Thousand Weeks, to show how it’s possible to zoom out from our own troubles and get a better perspective on them.
Doing this can, as Burkeman puts it, help us to drop back down from "godlike fantasies of cosmic significance into the experience of life as it concretely, finitely – and often enough, marvelously – really is."
