Monty Roberts tells a story of a high school teacher who gave a writing assignment to share what you wanted to do when you grew up. Monty wrote that he wanted to own a ranch and raise thoroughbred horses. His teacher gave him an F and told him he would never make that dream a reality. 

When the teacher gave him a chance to rewrite the paper for a higher grade, Monty said, “Keep your F, I’m keeping my dream.”

Today, Monty has a 154-acre range with thoroughbred horses. He inspired the Robert Redford Movie, The Horse Whisperer.
