Summer Morning

《夏日清晨》

The morning comes, and thickening clouds arise,

清晨到来，浓密的云层缓缓升起，

The sun breaks out, and lights the misty skies.

太阳出来，点亮了朦胧的天空。

The meadows smell of summer, and the breeze

草地上弥漫着夏天的气息，微风轻轻吹来，

Blows cool and gently through the leafy trees.

清凉而温柔地穿过树叶婆娑的林间。

And sparkling dew-drops deck the branches o’er,

闪亮的露珠点缀着枝叶，

备注：o’er是over的缩写

Like pearls upon a green and emerald shore.

宛如绿宝石海岸上洒落的珍珠。

The lark’s shrill song comes thrilling down the sky,

云雀清亮的歌声从高空倾泻而下，

And wakes the heart to joy—it cannot die.

唤醒了心中的喜悦——这些美好不会消逝。
