One of the biggest things that holds us back and dictates the life we live is driven by the judgement we receive from others and the judgment we place on ourselves. In this episode, I want to share how you can free yourself of this feeling.
By freeing ourselves of this feeling we are allowing ourselves to grow and develop in our own way, for our own minds, as it can open doors that you didn’t even know existed.
I just wanted to remind you that our Your Art Matters event is starting on Monday 4th April. It’s completely free to join in. I am on a mission to bring artists from all over the world together to find joy, have fun and get inspired with art. If you want to join, you can sign up here: https://join.yourartmatters.com.
WE NEED ART!
Art is powerful, it heals, evokes and helps us both question and understand more about ourselves and the world we live in. It builds confidence, self-awareness and self-belief. It creates change and challenges our perceptions.
Art is accessible to everyone. It all starts with making art.
With everything going on in the world we need art more than ever.
In this episode, I will be sharing how we can use art during these difficult times and why art is so flippin' amazing.
If you want to escape the world and immerse yourself in art for 5 days, come and join our annual YOUR ART MATTERS event.

Do you know that feeling when you can feel yourself falling behind, like time is running away with you and you just can’t catch your breath? Have you set yourself some big goals this year? Is there something you are setting your sights on to achieve?
Know that this is normal. I am feeling it massively at the moment. There is so much going on behind the scenes as we are getting everything ready for our annual Your Art Matters event.
It’s running from 4th to 8th April. The theme for this event is “art is…” and we are asking people to share what art means to them and complete the phrase “art is…”!
The purpose of this event is to really celebrate the diversity in the arts from all over the world. To come and join our event, sign up here.
You can watch our live episode here and read our latest blog post here.
In this episode, I chat about the topic of talent being something that is taught or whether it is innate.
Have you ever questioned whether you have talent? Maybe you have admired others who effortlessly make art and think 'they were born with that talent, it's not possible for me?'.
I have views on this topic and I share them with you here.
By the way, I am going live on Monday 21st Feb at 5pm UK over on Facebook and YouTube with Nicholas Wilton. We will be doing a live art critique. If you want to come and join us, click here!
