Well, this episode is for you if you want to learn how you can get on the same page and work together!
I tend to attract a lot of dreamers, visionaries and thought leaders to my show and my content. So, if you are the creative engine of your business, but have either a spouse or significant other that doesn’t necessarily operate the same way, today’s episode is all about how to get on the same page as your person as you dream big and they tend to lean into their realism, their details, their pro/con lists that kind of suck the joy out of the experience of dreaming big. This can be a dividing point in a marriage.
But because we know the power of people working together and really leveraging each other’s strengths, I am going to help you. This is something my husband and I had to do and have to continually do because I'm the dreamer and he's the details guy.
So listen in to find out how you can work together to achieve your goals and dreams!

As parents, we all want what is best for our kids. . . And sometimes, with the best of intentions, we can try to control their sweet little lives in the spirit of wanting the whole world and more for them. Sometimes, we want to hand them everything on a silver platter because we just want them to be happy, fulfilled and healthy. And I think parents who also run businesses can maybe (just maybe) be even a bit more guilty of this.
There's so much pressure on kids today: getting great grades across the board, being in high-level sports and making varsity, dealing with bullying, the digital world, and all these different things that they're facing can turn us into well-intentioned micromanagers for our kids.
In today’s episode I want to present an idea that's going to flip the script and hopefully free you of this pressure that we put on ourselves - because controlling and dictating our children's path is not only not helping them, but it's actually robbing them of the lessons through failures and mistakes, that they need to shape them into who they're actually called to be.
So, let's raise them up right!

Want a new perspective on how to show up for your clients, how to craft a rock solid team culture and how to work in strong partnerships? Then you don’t want to miss this episode!
The more I do this show and realize the people that I can call friends and mentors, the more I recognize how blessed I have been along the way and how critical it is to surround yourself with truly great people. Not just great in what they do, but in how they do it and the people they are.
Steve Gabriel is one of those people for me. Co-founder and managing partner of 36creative, Steve is breaking the mold in marketing. Together with his co-founder, Trent Sanders, and their team, he is serving big and small name businesses alike. They are sought-after experts in the marketing arena, but what sets them apart in my eyes is their genuine care for people and you're going to get a taste of that firsthand in our interview today.
So, if you want a new perspective on how to show up for your clients, how to craft a rock solid team culture and how to work in strong partnerships, you do not want to miss this episode with my good friend Steve Gabriel.

In today’s episode, we are talking about the incredible power of teaching through story.
Now, you might not think this is relevant to raising leaders, but it's incredibly critical in the process of imparting the wisdom that we want our kids to take into their own lives as they step into leadership.
And there's no better way to do it than through story.
So, if you feel like you're banging your head against the wall sometimes, trying to get your kids to understand values or understand the things that you want them to embody and take on, let's talk about why you might want to shift gears a little bit and lean on story.

I think it’s safe to say that this is one of the most important things for you to learn how to discern, as both an entrepreneur and just a person living in our modern world: how do you know what’s a good opportunity vs. a “shiny” opportunity?
Everyone loves a good opportunity! But part of really elevating into your next level means discerning which opportunities are the right ones. Sometimes, they’re such great opportunities it would seem crazy to say no. Other times, it’s tough to decipher whether it’s something that would be a launching pad or ultimately an anchor.
So today I’m talking to you about how to discern which opportunities are for you and which ones are not. Let’s tap into it!

Today’s episode is going to be a little different from our typical Raising Luminaries, but possibly one of the most important ones when it comes to raising up leaders and bringing up children who are going to step into their purpose and their calling in life.
This particular moment in history is one of the most trying, challenging, heart-wrenching divided times that we've ever had to walk through. As an entrepreneurial parent, someone who is carving their way as they're raising a family, it seems even more heart-wrenching.
So, today's episode is a perspective shift for anyone who is feeling the burden and the heaviness of this particular moment in time and needs a reminder to why this is not a coincidence, why are we are not here by chance and why we have to shift our focus from the fear of raising our kids at this moment in time to seeing that there's a plan at play.
So I think this will ease some worry and breathe new life in your journey of raising leaders and Luminaries.
