Stian Angermund is a professional trail runner for Asics living in Norway, and the 2023 (and 2022) short trail world champion.

Stian is one of the most humble, well known and respected athletes in the trail running world, and he managed to repeat himself in the last edition of the trail world championship in Innsbruck, after his gold medal in Thailand of last year.

In this episode, we chat about his approach to the race in Austria and his preparation leading up to it, about the world championship as an event, about his consistency at such a high level, about his professional running career and how it’s changed over the years, now that he’s also a husband, a dad and a 36 year old man with a lot of experience.
