Adopted at birth Emily O'Neil's story is one of feeling like an outsider, lonely and disconnected for much of her childhood. Whilst there were happy times, the need to belong and to be seen and heard were strong. Emily's voice is full of wisdom now as she recounts her childhood story including, sadly, a deep desire to end her own life at the age of just 13.
