Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum is a nationally known expert in the USA in the fields of chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, sleep, and pain.
His own personal story is touching and inspiring, and he tells about his own health struggles in this episode.

We also talk about insulin resistance on a cellular level, and he explains how blood sugar and insulin work, and how insulin is involved with fat storage, high cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, metabolic syndrome, low blood sugar, mood swings, cortisol, and adrenal fatigue.
There is no "one size fits all" approach, but his (and my!) conclusion is this:
Eat real whole foods that are nutrient dense and that don't spike your insulin.
