The psychological effects of controlling parents.

What happens when your entire world is controlled?  Micah grew up in a very controlled, religious environment. Church was three times a week. Discipline was militant in style and there were so many rules and beliefs that Micah had begun obsessively washing her hands by the age of 5. Later she developed an eating disorder and flip flopped between dissociation and hypervigilance.  This is an insight into the trauma of a father passed down to his daughter as she fought for control over every aspect of her being.
