Tracy had a mother who was absent, physically and emotionally.  Her mother didn't connect with her, even as a tiny baby.  As a kid, Tracy's mother never questioned where she was or what she was doing.  She just didn't care.  And the trauma from those experiences made Tracy very sick.  Over many years Tracy tried everything to get better.  It wasn't until Tracy found somatic experiencing therapy that she was able to heal.  Somatic experiencing is healing trauma through the body, as opposed to talk therapy which is healing via the brain.  This quick episode is an insight into the power of somatic healing work.
