Melissa was born to parents who ran, what Melissa now understands, was a fundamentalist christian cult. The rules were so extreme that from three years of age Melissa believed her heart was black, she was a sinner, she was broken and evil and if she begged god to save her, he would wash her clean and take her to heaven. As a woman her purpose was to have as many babies as possible.  Her position as a woman was at the bottom of the food chain. But one day Melissa saw a tiny crack of light from the outside world and she started asking questions. This is a journey from complete and utter control to incredible freedom and Melissa is now helping women, just like you, to live the next stage of their lives empowered and free.
