Today's topic is a hard one to swallow. Before this interview, I didn't realize that factory farms are responsible for the majority of the agricultural practices in this country. Unfortunately, these farms are often hidden away and what lies behind the scenes is deeply upsetting - animals suffering in horrific living conditions, workers exposed to hazardous environments, and risks to public health due to environmental toxins that will blow your mind. However, it is only by learning more about this topic that we can make meaningful changes, something Rowdey Keelor from FFAC (factory farming awareness coalition) will be helping us do in this episode.
