Welcome to episode #120!
Imagine your healing like being on a boat in the middle of the ocean. You're ready to go back home, but you can't move because you have anchors that are stuck to the bottom. The anchors that are keeping you held down in your life are the guilt, shame, abandonment, unworthiness and fear that you carry. By doing inner work you will energetically cut those anchors and free yourself.
I truly believe that we all have energetic anchors. Some are karmic and some are there because of unhealed trauma.
It has taken me many years to work through my childhood trauma. I was spiritually, mentally and emotionally put through hell for a good portion of my life. Would I change any of what I endured? Absolutely not because it helped me to find my inner light and remember who I am.
You see, when we go through hard things we have two options. The first option is to play the victim and the "poor me" role. I did this for a long time but nothing changed as a result of me feeling bad for myself.
The second option is to choose to work on yourself. When I started focusing on healing myself, everything began to shift. I taught myself to meditate, practice forgiveness, release trapped energy, breathwork, self-reflect, be grateful, find the humor in it all and how to navigate rough waters.
