There was so much abuse in Sean's family from a father who had suffered terrible abuse himself.  Sean never felt any love from his father, only abuse, anger, rejection. But regardless of the abuse, Sean was able to find love. His older sister became the loving leader of the family and his older brother-in-law took Sean under his wing and showed him love and care like he'd never experienced before. His brothers and sisters learnt to band together and support each other when their parents were unable to. In this quick chat episode Sean explains how that the love that came from people other than his own parents, literally saved his life.
