Welcome to episode #127!
I am going to share my experience with MY ABANDONMENT WOUNDS.
When I was young and my father would get angry/violent/abusive with me he would always end up leaving. He often said things like “I wish I was just dead and I wouldn’t have to deal with you.” It planted this seed within my mind that I wasn’t worthy of love.
Thats all a lie though. Because we all, no matter what we have been through or told, deserve love.
When I healed my abandonment wounds I stopped attracting people that abandoned me. I stopped feeling insecure and jealous. I slowly started to trust again and open my heart back up.
It takes time to heal. Even the fact that you have awareness of abandonment wounds is good fortune. Most people go through life with a closed heart, never understanding why they feel a certain way or can’t make a relationship work.
YOU ARE ENOUGH. Even if you weren’t enough for your mom or dad.
You are worthy of love. Even if you never felt like you were.
