In April, I was grieving the loss of my dad. He passed away very suddenly in March during a hospital foot surgery. I stayed with my dad for two weeks and helped with his memorial service with my sister in Kaohsiung. The most difficult time of day was before I went to bed: I couldn’t stop thinking about him. I especially missed the time we ate and chatted together. My support system back then included hanging out with my best friends and reading a lot of books. I wish my friends would just spend more time with me, because after the funeral I was actually sadder. It was hurtful when people didn't know what to say. I think it was because most of them have not lost a parent yet. I can understand better now. It was really helpful when people showed how much they cared when I reached out. The thing that helps me most right now is getting back to my normal routine. I work hard and look forward to traveling again. Since both of my parents are gone, I will lean on some of my good friends and be strong for myself.

四月的時候，為我爸爸的離世而哀慟。 他在醫院裡因為一個腳的手術中去世了。我在高雄和我姐姐陪著爸爸準備告別式。一天最難過的時刻是當我睡覺前：我總是停止不了去想他。我特別想念我們一起吃飯聊天的時光。那個時候我的支持系統包含了和我的朋友在一起還有讀很多的書。我希望我的朋友會多花點時間在我身上，因為事實上在告別式之後我變得更加傷心了。當別人不知道怎麼說的時候真的讓我滿受傷的。但是我想是因為大多數的人沒有經歷過父母死亡。我現在可以比較理解了。當我尋求幫助的時候，有人展示他們真正關心的時候對我真的很有幫助。現在最能幫助我的就是回到正常的生活。我努力工作也期待再次旅行。既然我的父母都不在了，我會依靠我的好朋友們，也會為自己堅強一點。
