There seems to be a bit of confusion out there in the endurance world when it comes to the terms “keto” and “fat-adapted.”
Keto gets a bad rap because people tout it as being an all-fat diet – all you eat are sticks of butter wrapped with bacon, but this is definitely not the case at all.
Being fat-adapted on the other hand causes some confusion too since the word “fat” sends a lot of people running in the other direction.
We’ve become a fat-phobic nation so any dietary intervention that allows you to consume higher amounts of fat seems counterintuitive and downright scary.
So today on the podcast, I want to clear up all of this confusion and help answer the question, “keto vs. fat-adapted, which is better?”
