One of the most common questions I get is "how do I start?" We want to start healing, start a spiritual journey, start manifesting, start something. And knowing where to begin can be confusing and overwhelming. Today I want to offer a first step in the healing process, adapted from Dr. Gabor Mate's work in his book, The Myth of Normal (if you haven't read it, I can't recommend it highly enough). Of course, I filter these ideas through the lens of the chakra system, and his first "A" of four lines up perfectly with our Root Chakra Work around becoming our most authentic, true, highest self.
