The day we’ve all been waiting for since Jimmy Moore went away on a self-imposed six-month sabbatical on September 1, 2019. “The Man Of Real” is back today with a brand new focus, and boy does he have a story to tell.
“I know a lot of people show their real lives on social media, but there’s a lot of fakery. That stuff is toxic. Let’s be REAL.”
– Jimmy Moore
When you start bringing up sensitive things like childhood trauma it could really go south very quickly if you address it too flippantly and without a purpose in mind. But for those of you who watched it already, Jimmy’s primary goal is to be open, honest, and vulnerable in ways you’ve probably never seen anybody be before online—and to leave you with things to think about so you can better yourself.
There is a very fine line between being real in ways that open people’s eyes to their own life and being a discouragement to those who are still working through issues from their past. I can assure you that I am working hard on finding that proper balance between the realness of all this and the helpfulness of everything that I’ll be sharing. You deserve that and I will always be sensitive to that.
Listen in today to hear Jimmy tell the story of how his life turned upside down just two weeks into his sabbatical, the discovery he made that has led him down a path he never expected, and why he believes that the topic of childhood trauma is more important to our health and well being than just about anything else.
