Dr. Tony Hampton is a board certified family physician who for 19 years has treated patients with multiple chronic conditions. The condition which has had the greatest impact in his life both in his family and as a physician has been diabetes inspiring him to give his patients some useful tools to help them manage this chronic condition. A regular speaker for the American Diabetes Association speaking at its annual Expo speaking about “Diabetes in the African American Community” as well as “Diet and Diabetes”. His passion to empower patients with knowledge was the driving force behind his desire to become an author and write about ways diet can help improve not only diabetes but other health conditions as well.
