On this episode, the boys had Dr. Bill Evans back on the pod! We had several topics we wanted to discuss that we didn't get to on episode 1 with him, and he just ran his first marathon, so we had to get him back on!
Dr. E crushed his marathon, running 2:37 with a negative split on a hilly course. He talked about what he liked about his training and also what he would change about it.
We also talked about sleep and carb loading before a race, how fast you lose fitness, the 10% mileage increase rule, and could eating spicy food be beneficial to your performance??
