THE SNEAKY REASON YOUR DIET STINKS:
You put too much pressure on it and on yourself!

Too many of us put too much pressure on ourselves to be perfect and you aren't actually listening to our bodies.

I’m inspired to share on this topic with you for three reasons:

1). My most recent research in France reawakened truths in me

2). We’re going deep on this topic the entire month in the COC

3). Listener requests around this subject never stop coming in

So, some general thoughts to help you take the pressure off yourself so that you can approach your relationship with food with more confidence and fun:

Stop moralizing food.

Instead of guilt, go to gratitude.

Your body is sending you messages, are you listening to it?

Put your ear muffs on and stop following fads.

Don't compare how you eat to how someone else eats - no two bodies are the same.

Food is meant to be enjoyed - give yourself permission to do that!

Have more fun and be less serious.

Refuse to buy into the concept of "falling off the wagon"

Tell your body where you want the food to go (reduce your stress)
FIX YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD AND FIX YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR BODY AT THE SAME TIME
Life is meant to be lived, and enjoyed, and celebrated, and your body is a gift.

I personally wasted YEARS of my life not fully living because I was so fixated on my physical flaws and my food issues.  When I learned to lighten up about food, I learned to see myself differently – and I saw beauty in myself I hadn’t seen before.

I decided to stop looking around and wishing I was someone else and instead just started thinking and acting like the person I wanted to become. If I can do this, you can too!!!
THE GRATITUDE TRICK FOR DIETING
Turn your guilt into gratitude.

Thank your body for the messages it is sending you.

-I used to beat myself up over tummy aches and bad dreams; then I transitioned to thank myself for reminding me that it doesn’t feel good to go to bed with a full tummy

-I used to beat myself up over wanting to treat myself to something because ...
