My guest today is a brand growth strategist for product brands. You might be thinking, as interior designers we don’t sell products we sell services, but there are so many great strategy tips you will take away from this episode. Maureen Mwangi grew up in Kenya, where entrepreneurship was not the norm. Her parents were entrepreneurs and she quickly learned from them what it takes to build a successful business and the underlying qualities needed to be an entrepreneur.

 

With a Master’s Degree in Marketing, Maureen quickly ascended to leadership in some of America’s most beloved brands and mastered the billion-dollar brand-building strategies that most entrepreneurs never have the resources to access. She is the creator of Big Brand Academy, The Product Profit Lab, and Startward Consulting. She also has a passion project: Taji Foundation - a non-profit organization that supports boys in Kenya to get the education they need to lift their families out of poverty and build generational wealth.
