Shannon’s life was a rollercoaster of emotions. With a raging narcissist for a grandfather and a mom suffering with bipolar disorder, the mood in Shannon’s home could switch from joy to depression in an instant. Growing up in this toxic environment kept Shannon’s young nervous system on constant high alert, eventually causing it to break down.
