Growing up as a young pro surfer may look incredible form the outside, but it comes with some tough life lessons from travelling alone at a super young age, too missing out on a normal school life.

Soli Bailey is a great friend of mine who has been one of my biggest rivals since I was 12 years old. In this chat we explore the relationship he has with competing and the things he learnt from growing up on the road. We also discuss how special it was for him to be the first professional surfer to to compete with the indigenous flag on his shoulder, something he is extremely proud of.
