Every January, we're told to start fresh by setting goals, building plans, and fixing what didn't work last year.
But what if that pressure is the very thing that keeps us stuck?
In this episode, I'm inviting you to try something different—something simpler, deeper, and far more sustainable.
Instead of resolutions or rigid goals, what if you chose one word to guide your year?
In this episode, I walk you through the practice of choosing a one-word intention—and how that single word can become a lens for your decisions, your energy, and the way you show up in both life and business.
I share:
Why one word is often more powerful than a long goal list
How to discern your word (not the one you think you "should" choose)
How I'm personally exploring the words abundance and enough this year
Simple, non-overwhelming ways to actually live into your word all year long
After listening, take 15–20 minutes to reflect on these questions:
What themes keep showing up in my life right now?
What feels like it's being invited to grow or heal this year?
What word feels grounding, expansive, or gently challenging -- rather than forced?
Then:
Write your word somewhere you'll see it often
Choose one simple practice that helps you live into it (a habit, a reminder, a question, or a boundary)
Let me know what your word is @mydigitalfarmer on Instagram!
