Dr. Ben Lovett is back! Longtime podcast listeners will recognize Dr. Lovett from two of my early episodes on ADHD and testing accommodations. I’m fortunate to have him return and let me ask him a bunch of basic, naive questions about psychometrics and test development. The intent with this episode is to ask many of the questions that we “should” know the answer to but are afraid to ask. These are just a few:

  • What does it really mean for a test to be “biased”?
  • Which psychometric properties should we care about most?
  • Where do we find good info on psychometric properties of a test?
  • How much do we share in the report regarding psychometrics of our measures?
  • Cool Things Mentioned

    • The Testing Psychologist mastermind groups and business consulting
    • Practical Psychometrics: A Guide for Test Users
    • Testing Accommodations for Students With Disabilities: Research-Based Practice (School Psychology) (School Psychology (APA))
    • Featured Resource
