38. The Hard Truth About Disordered Eating

I really want to bring awareness to something that I know can be triggering for some to hear, but I also know it’s extremely important for me to share about. Disordered eating (this is different from a specific eating disorder) is something I used to struggle with, and the majority of my clients are struggling with this in some aspect when we first start working together.  


In today’s episode, I’m talking about:

-My personal story of suffering with disordered eating

-The hard truth surrounding disordered eating due to diet culture, wanting to lose weight and be smaller, etc.

-Learning to fuel your body and view food differently (aka not let it control your life)


Whether you’ve personally experienced disordered eating or not, it is a very real thing, and it’s just not the way to live. I KNEW this was a subject I needed to bring to light, because I am living proof that you can overcome this, and only great things will happen as a result. 

I absolutely love seeing the ladies I work with learn to fuel their bodies, and as a result, gain confidence, and feel fulfilled. I want you to know that there is a better way, and you CAN feel better when it comes to your health, and your body-for life!
