It’s getting colder, darker, and the chocolate and heavy foods are calling. It’s like my inner animal wants to fatten up and get ready for hibernation. My animal has not realized I live indoors, with heating, and unlimited access to food. Nevertheless, it wants me to fatten up for winter.
Here are some strategies to manage the winter cravings:
1. Do not engage in emotional or physical deprivation
2. Plan treats
3. Plan healthy meals
4. Learn how to say no
