Here's the second set of things I learned from watching the show ALONE:

2. The main thing that makes people give up on this dream of theirs - other than actual starvation or contracting some sickness or some shit, is that they miss home. Isolation is fucking horrible. 

3. One Person’s trash is another person’s lifeline. Anything can become a resource or an asset if you are creative, persistent, practical, optimistic, and a decent problem solver. 

4. The ability to shift when shit aint working + not getting your ego hurt by a disappointing outcome, can make all the difference in your longevity + the quality of your experience.
