It has been one year since I was officially divorced. In a way it all happened super fast and in a way it had been happening for years. Yes I am so grateful I finally had the courage to get divorced. It was the best decision I could have made for myself and my kids at this time in my life. The emotional pain and memories and letting go have been challenging.  I see the light most days. I share a small glimpse of my healing journey and experiences I have had.  To all those that are contemplating divorce, have lots of love and compassion for yourself. It is possible to come out the other end intact and in one piece.
