Welcome back to the third and final episode of my three-part Wellness Foundations mini series here on the Loving Wellness podcast! In this series, we're going back to the basics and diving deep into what I believe to be the foundations of true wellness in mind, body, and spirit.
In today's episode (which is a continuation of Part 2), to round this series out, I am delving into the second half of the foundational wellness practices that I believe are integral to true healing and sustainable health. As I did in the previous episode, I'm sharing evidence from the literature as well as my own experiences (both personally and professionally with clients) for each foundation I talk about in the episode:
1- Community, social connection, & nurturing healthy relationships
2- Joyful movement / exercise
3- Optimal hydration & mineral replenishment
4- Nervous system regulation
5- Minimizing toxic exposures & supporting the body's natural drainage and detoxification pathways
6- Laughter
7- Spiritual wellness: meditation, mindfulness, intention, & faith
