Australian Paleo health podcasters Crystal Fieldhouse, Jo Fitton, and Charby Ibrahim are our special guest co-hosts in Episode 788 of "The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show."
When Jimmy was invited to come to Australia in November 2012 for the "Low Carb Down Under" speaking tour, he had the great privilege of meeting so many amazing people there. Two of those people were Crystal Fieldhouse from the "Eat Sleep Move" blog and Jo Fitton from the "Eating Well Out" blog and they dreamed at the time about starting their own Paleo, primal, real food-based podcast. Jimmy encouraged them to just do it and in 2014 that podcast is now a reality as "The Primal Shift: Primal Living in the Modern World" is rolling along on iTunes with Crystal, Jo, and Charby Ibrahim from "The Ancestral Body" blog at the helm. This incredible Aussie trio likes to focus on what they call "a collection of lifestyle shifts that form a well-rounded healthy existence."
What Crystal, Jo, and Charby attempt to do is help people more closely examine their current lifestyles to compare them with what our ancestors would have experienced--heck, even from the way our grandparents lived. Modern technology has put our lives on steroids and given us more stress than ever before. It's everything people can do just to keep our heads above water. Needless to say, this can take a toll on our health, our happiness, our relationships, energy levels, and our quality of life. While diet and exercise are what gets most of the attention in reclaiming our health, there are a few vital pieces of the puzzle. Listen in as "The Primal Shift" podcast gang offers up their 7 Key Primal Shifts (Eat, Detox, Sleep, Think, Move, Play and Relax) that are all equally important elements of the healthy living puzzle. It's an unforgettable podcast that could quite possibly change your life forever!
