Today, Cristabelle Braden engages in a heartfelt conversation with Kelly Lang, a brain injury survivor and caregiver to her daughter who sustained a traumatic brain injury in 2001. She is a bestselling co-author of “The Miracle Child: Traumatic Brain Injury and Me,” co-leads the Brain Injury Association of America’s Advisory Council and serves on the Virginia Brain Injury Advisory Council, along with being a keynote speaker and many other advocacy and research projects for TBI. In this episode, she shares her story, especially as related to the grief process. We also talk about the invisibility of brain injuries and the misconceptions surrounding them, with encouragement and hope for survivors and families going through their own journeys.
