Trauma is confusing. We can spend years of our life having no idea we are suffering from childhood trauma.

It can be so severe that we might actually be experiencing a whole range of mental and physical health effects from it, but because it has always been our normal to feel this way, it can lead us down a path of just using a million different coping mechanisms to get through.
