In honor of Mother’s Day, Abel and I sat down and had a candid conversation with my mother Rosa Amelia Rivera Saavedra. My mother spoke of her life with my father and her decision to divorce him after 42 years of marriage. Although this episode was one of the most emotional ones yet by far it has been one of my favorites because we got to sit and talk to a woman that I admire and respect tremendously. My mother opens her heart and explains how a woman knows when it’s time to ask for a divorce. When enough is enough.
