Hi friends!
Meditation is such a powerful biblical tool. Today we unpack some secrets and tools to help with our prayer practice. And we answer the question—Isn’t Meditation New Age? Yes, and no. ;) We are diving into Biblical meditation… Yes, Meditation is biblical and is one of the most powerful ways to encounter God.
Please keep in mind, when we talk about Spiritual practices, I know we all can tend to pile on the shame of “I should do more”, or “I’m not doing enough”. Try not to take the bait of self-condemnation and pile on the shame if you are struggling there.
All of these practices are intended to bring more freedom, not pile on more bondage.

Hello my friend!
We are beginning to dive into the topic of ‘purpose and meaning’ in our lives… it’s a BIG concept and something we will be diving into over and over again, in the next few months.
Today I wanted to share one of my favorite quotes of allll time!
I also mention ‘Logotherapy’ —it means basically that finding a deep purpose within our struggle is the key to getting through our deep struggles with hope, peace and purpose.
If Scripture has ever been used as a weapon against you, I’m so so sorry you had to endure that. Scripture was intended to guide, bless and plant hope deep inside of you.
Quote of the week:
“The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.” Fredrick Buechner
Song of the week:
“Still Rolling Stones” Lauren Daigle // YouTube // Spotify // iTunes //
Inspiring Scripture:
“So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.” Romans 8:28 TPT
Yes, this is the second time I used this scripture in a month(but a different version), what can I say? I'm obsessed. And I forgot until I recorded the episode. ;)
All of the pieces of your life are continuing to build you into the human being you were created to be! And this world needs YOU, and your experience and wisdom!
Much love,
Dani

Hi friends!
Want to make BIG changes in your life? Little steps is key! The Quote of the week is “small hinges swing big doors.” And it’s been speaking to my heart for weeks!
Ok and you guys, I encourage you to listen to this week’s song by Lecrae, it’s so good! Yes, it’s rap, and if that’s not your thing, I get it! But I would encourage you to watch the YouTube video or read the Lyrics.
“small hinges swing big doors.”
Psalm 119:50 “my comfort in my suffering is this: your promise preserves my life.”
“I’ll Find You” (featuring Tori Kelly) Lecrae. // Youtube // iTUNES // Spotify
A few lines from the song I love— “Fear drives faith…. But when that ocean of doubt comes, don’t let me drown in my sorrow. I’ll settle for peace of mind. Just fight a little longer my friend, it’s all worth in the end. When you’ve go nobody to turn to, just hold on and I’ll find you.”
Have a great week.
You are not alone!
Love ya,
Dani

Hello my friend!
Holy moly can things that trigger us be so hard to deal with at times! But they are also indicators that we need more inner healing in wounded places.
We don't need to run from our feelings, they are there for a reason and can be part of the solution to usher in the healing. But I get it if you want to run from them, I live in feeling-ville at times too and it can be a lot to deal with. Learning to take care of ourselves so we can live from a place of peace and joy take a little practice, so be patient with yourself. :)
In this episode I break down a bit:

Hi friends!
I am so GRATEFUL for today’s Quick Encouragement Sunday episode! I have been wrestling through a season of anxiety and this scripture and song so blessed me. And I just ‘happened’ to read this quote this morning by Edith Eger—a hero of mine. I hope this blesses you. You don’t want to miss the song of the week, it’s on youtube.
Numbers 6:24-26 ‘May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’
“The UK Blessing — Churches sing 'The Blessing' over the UK” // Youtube // iTunes // Spotify //
“ ‘Are you evolving or revolving?’ -The Prisoner of Paralyzing fear.
I’d been teaching psychology at a high school in El Paso for a few years—and had even even awarded teacher of the year—when I decided to return to school for a master’s in educational psychology. One day my clinical supervisor came to me and said, “Edith, you’ve got to get a doctorate.” I laughed. “By the time I get a doctorate I’ll be fifty,” I said. (and she responded) “you’ll be fifty anyways.”
Those are the smartest 4 words anyone ever said to me.
Honey, you’re going to be fifty anyway, or thirty or ninety. So you might as well take a risk.” —Edith Eger from The Gift
May God grant you peace, He is with you!
In this together.
Much love,
Dani

Hi friends!
Welcome back to another Quick Encouragement Sunday episode! This week’s quote, scripture and song for the week have me pumped!
Quote of the week:
“Never love anyone who treats you ordinary. ”— Oscar Wilde.
I could argue this quote on a few fronts, but the meaning behind it is beautiful and struck a cord in me. My friend, don't settle with believing you are anything less than extraordinary. And you have permission to ask others to treat you that way too. And of course, we get to give the gift of treating others like they are extraordinary beings too. :)
Scripture of the week:
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
I know it can be so difficult to believe it when we are going through an awful season, or have a ton of heartache inside... but hang in there, and my prayer is that you can seem glimmers of hope and grace peaking through the clouds. You're a miracle, a masterpiece and an extraordinary human being! :)
Song of the week:
“Head To The Heart” by United Pursuit (SOOO good!)
