Interested vs Committed.

Which are you? 

Who are you attracting?

Are you interested in a ton of thing but finding it hard to commit to any of those specific interests?

To the point that it is overwhelming?

You wont get ahead that way...

You need to prioritize your commitments.

Success comes with risks.

Success comes with stepping outside your comfort zones.

Success comes with committing to do the things it takes every single day no matter how long it takes.

If it takes 3 months, a year, or 7 years it doesn't matter. 

When you decide and commit you commit to however long it takes.

It's not a matter of if it happens, it's a matter of when.

"What you resist persists."

Its time to stop giving into the resistance we feel!

Instead its time that we embrace whatever it is that we are resisting because we know that the resistance is our clue that it is exactly what we need to be doing in order to get into alignment, in order to get closer to what it is we are working towards or desiring.

The first step to be able to do this is 2 words: Self Awareness.

Self Awareness is HUGE! It's everything to be honest with you. It's the most important and impactful thing that I have got from the last two years of personal development and working on myself.

Being aware of WHY you feel and act the way you do is crucial to change the bad patterns or bad habits that you have.

What do you resist most?

Why?

Where can you make space in your life so you can show up in the areas that will benefit you most?

What sacrifices can be made?

Where can you invest into yourself and your well being?

You know how kids will ask "why?" over and over and over.... well this is basically that... but you're doing it, to yourself.

"Started from the bottom now we here."

Hi, I am Alicia and I want to break down to you why I came up with the name for this podcast to be what it is.

I grew up very poor... and I am PROUD of that! My background has provided me so many lessons and so much growth which I am now able to share with you today.

Living a Rich life isn't about being rich monetarily but being rich in an abundance of all the good things. Just having money doesn't make you truly rich.

Health, wealth, happiness, love, family, self awareness and more are required to truly live a rich life.

Through my podcast I'll be sharing my own personal journey, raw, real, unedited (even when there are spiders... you'll hear that in this episode) to inspire you to face your life challenges as opportunities to grow into an even better person than you were yesterday!

I came from nothing,  but yet I was able to take a TON of value and lessons from my circumstances growing up and create a life today that I truly believe I have manifested through knowing what it was that I did NOT want growing up, rather than dreaming of the things I did want.

Energy Vampires... Do you know any?

Unfortunately sometimes even the people that we love most can take up more of our energy than they should.

Its not their fault.... but it is our responsibility to protect our own energy.

We can't change people... we can only change ourselves, and change our triggers so we can show up as a better version of ourself.

I am a loaded gun when it comes to my triggers with my mom. So this week I had a huge opportunity to step back and self reflect on the areas that I need to work on so that I can have a better relationship with my her.

Its okay to take a break from the people that we love, even if its family or a spouse or your childhood best friend. Its important to look out for #1 - YOU so that YOU can be a better daughter, spouse, or friend.

Protect your energy like the sacred sh*t that it is. You only have so much in a day and you have a lot on your plate!

New Year, New Me!

Cliche AF but its true.

For some people.... (cough, cough... myself) its been easier to just have a dramatic meltdown when something isn't working out as I so perfectly planned in my head rather than taking responsibility and finding a damn solution and moving on.

Now why would I want to do that?!

Because its 2019 baby! Time to leave that childish bull shit behind in 2018.

Picture this:

A box.

All your shit habits, behaviours and beliefs placed gently inside of the box.

The box left on the door step as you walk through the big beautiful door to 2019.

Say bye bye to those things that arn't serving you anymore, and say hello the the 2019 version of you!

Unless that is you want the same results that you had in 2018... well then grab that box and bring it with you... but listen to this podcast first!
