Olympic Champion. World Champion. French record holder over 3km, 5km and 10km. Cassandra Beaugrand joins us on the All In Triathlon Podcast for an honest conversation about the highs, the pressure, and what comes next.
We dive into what it was really like racing the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on home soil, how she handled the expectation of an entire nation, and whether the experience lived up to everything she imagined.
Cassandra also talks about her athletics background, where her love of running began, and how it has shaped her into one of the fastest triathletes in the world. Looking ahead, we discuss LA 2028 and whether defending her Olympic title is the sole focus, or if the dream of combining triathlon with the 5,000m is still alive.
We also cover France's incredible rise to the top of world triathlon, why the French system is producing so much depth and success, her goals for the rest of the season, and what she means when she says this year is all about "finding joy again."
Finally, we reflect on the disappointment of missing out on the world title in Wollongong and whether that race became the turning point that changed her perspective on the sport.
A fascinating conversation with one of the greatest athletes in triathlon today.

This week on All In Triathlon, Jelle gives an update on his injury and how rehab is progressing, while Aaron shares stories from life in a tent at 3,200m altitude.
The boys then debrief the short-course spectacle that was Alghero. Short course is back, baby! The race had everything: crashes, water bottles thrown at athletes, no handshakes at the finish line, and plenty of tension and rivalry building throughout the field.
They also discuss newly elected IOC President Kirsty Coventry's comments suggesting Olympic athletes shouldn't be paid, and explore the topic from both sides in a balanced discussion about what athlete compensation at the Olympic Games should look like.
