Even though some TSA workers received their first paychecks in 6 weeks Monday, tens of thousands of other DHS employees are still without pay.  The White House announced an offer late yesterday to lawmakers who are on a 2 week Easter recess. President Trump will host a big Easter Dinner at the White House if Congress will come back to D.C. to make a deal.

It appears some members of Congress aren’t concerned with optics, enjoying their spring breaks while TSA workers are wondering when they’ll get paid and for how long.  Lawmakers left D.C. after failing to fund DHS for more than 6 weeks, heading out for a two week vacation.  TMZ has asked Americans to send photos of lawmakers enjoying their Easter recess, and they’ve already captured members of Congress in Vegas and Disney World.

We are waiting for word from the courts, after DNA that attorneys say could exonerate convicted murderer James Duckett, came back as inconclusive. Duckett has been on death row for nearly 40 years for the rape and fatal drowning of an 11-year-old girl. As the holiest week for Catholics and Christians around the world begins today on this Palm Sunday, the first American Pope had some powerful words for U.S. and Israeli leaders: “Cease Fire!” Pope Leo told his faithful that it’s absurd to claim that problems and disagreements can be resolved through war, while Hegseth prayed for “overwhelming violence” to our enemies.  Meantime, significant preparations have been made to escalate the conflict with Iran,  the U.S sending 2500 more troops to the region before President Trump makes his decision whether to begin a ground invasion.”

After a trip back home to Atlanta, we spent some quality time with Mama Robach and it sparked a “when are we getting married conversation.”  We have to admit, we’ve not spoken AT ALL about wedding plans and wondered how long is too long?
