Jessica Lanyadoo is an internationally respected Astrologer, Intuitive, and Psychic Medium. She's been working with astrology since 1994. Since then, her weekly horoscope, her app Tiny Sparks, and her podcast, Ghost of a Podcast, have touched lives around the world.

Jessica says that, while she uses astrology as a spiritual practice when consulting for her clients, the way she uses astrology in her own life isn’t inherently spiritual. When she’s seeking consultation in her own life, she works with energy workers and healers.

She avoids spending a lot of time on social media looking sideways at other spiritual leaders, and that serves her practice. She has a ton of daily rituals, including energy work which she does several times a day, but she prefers to keep them close to her heart rather than sharing about them. In her lived experience, any kind of magic or energy work is best kept in a protective shield.

A lot of people think being their own boss means they get to do whatever they want — so not true! It’s about a cost-benefit analysis of doing what you want to do vs. what you need to do, being creative but also knowing what the demand is for your work. It’s important to always be in conversation about the best role for yourself and to be a good boss for yourself, and to know when to pivot your projects.

As a triple Capricorn, Jessica is says that she is both materialistic & anti-capitalist. She maintains her integrity by making sure that her drive and values are not driven by capitalism. She operates within the capitalist system with integrity by paying the people she hires well and on time, to avoid companies that are doing harm in the world, and generally to be conscious about spending. She’s invested in green bonds & stocks and she loves vintage items. Through Patreon and the ads in her podcast, she can provide incredible services without a big expense to the consumer while also being substantially paid. That's how she works within capitalism without defraying the full cost to the consumer.
