#202: Broadway star CAISSIE LEVY (RENT, WICKED, HAIRSPRAY) is now originating the role of Queen Elsa in the stage adaptation of the Disney juggernaut FROZEN. She chats with me about what it’s like playing Elsa in this historical year for women, the ways she helps her rambunctious two and a half year-old burn off steam in the city, and the secret as to why Let It Go resonates with so many people from all walks of life. We also talk about how ambition and professional high standards can seem at odds with raising children and how she manages to stay on top of her game. Finally, since she portrays the most famous big sister of all time, I ask her to give some “big sis” pointers to our five year-old Sabrina. Listen up and Let It Go! x Ellie Knaus

#199 Jamie-Lynn Sigler, boy mom of 2, and best known as Meadow in HBO’s The Sopranos, joins me in studio for a candid conversation that will stick with you. Jamie shares parenting lessons from her onscreen father, the beloved James Gandolfini, her favorite memories as Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, and what it’s like being married to a much younger gentleman. She offers a candid perspective on parenting as a mother trying to keep up with two young boys while also battling relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. She is truly a goddess onscreen and off with the biggest heart in Hollywood.

Santi White, aka Santigold, has performed around the world and collaborated with the best in the music industry. On Atomic Moms podcast, we chat about all things motherhood and her latest album I Don’t Want: The Gold Fire Sessions completed weeks before the birth of her twins, now seven months old. We laugh about her recent career day visit at her son's preschool. (Forget sold out arenas, nothing impresses a class of four year-olds like the idea of a bus with bunk beds). Santi openly shares how she approaches the BIG topics with her young son like death, shyness, and racial injustice. And we talk about her sixteen year relationship with her husband, professional snowboarder turned artist Trevor “Trouble” Andrew, known as Gucci Ghost, who approaches life so differently from his soul mate. You’ll be so inspired by her authenticity, drive, playfulness, and humor. I can’t wait for you to get to know Santi, the mom. xx Ellie

A global phenomenon, the #bulletjournal has +2.5 million Instagram mentions. On Atomic Moms podcast, we're talking with #buju mastermind RYDER CARROLL about how we can use a blank notebook and a pen to get organized, increase productivity, and live intentionally. This digital product designer created the bullet journal as a way to cope with his ADHD and the method has since taken the millennial world by storm. Self-proclaimed productivity nerd and minimalist, stay-at-home mom Becca McHugh co-captains this episode with me, and we get a little teary-eyed sharing an example of how one mother's bullet journaling literally saved her preschooler's life. Check out atomicmoms.com for a "How To" video and THE BULLET JOURNAL METHOD: Track the Past, Order the Present, Design the Future (Portfolio; 10/23). xx Ellie Knaus

Got cabin fever, atomic mamas? On the side of the road near Lake Arrowhead, CA, three recurring podcast friends: Bridget Moloney-Sinclair, Jessica Coulter, and Becca McHugh join me in a recap of our Mom Retreat experience, including how hard it is to get on the top bunk now that we're adults. We're chatting about an epic mom talent show, meeting moms in real life that we chat with in a secret mom Facebook group, a vintage PlayGirl featuring Brad Pitt, and most importantly, what's in the moms' fanny packs! Also, Becca's baby boy was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last month, and we find out what it's been like to step away from caregiving for the first time. We reclaimed a little bit of ourselves this weekend and ate too many s'mores. Join us in Becca's hot Volvo and escape with us on the pod!
