Hold on, because we are DIVING IN into my most recent experience at Rythmia life advancement center where I participated in 4 plant medicine ceremonies, the medicine of choice being Ayahuasca. In this episode, I give you the 411 on la medicina: what ayahuasca is comprised of, the science behind it/ how it works in your body, therapeutic applications, ceremony traditions, why it matters who is serving it and how, and the logistics of the ceremony itself. From there we talk about my decision to do ayahuasca: why I picked where I picked (and the questions to ask when deciding where to go), preparation, how I knew I got the "call" from mother ayahuasca. We talk about navigating the medicine, the different types of journeys that are common and reframe purging. And then we move onto night one of 4 nights of ceremony: my journey in the cosmos, complete with emotional support space cats, and the shocking realization and massive shift in healing that I experienced.
