Marea Goodman, Licensed Midwife, co-author of the book ‘Baby Making for Everybody,’ and founder of Pregnant Together; joins Jordana for a conversation about the LGBT & Solo Parent pregnancy experience. From at-home insemination and breast feeding when both parents can lactate, to understanding the grief that comes with the “non-traditional” conception process, Marea touches on the many ways she provides support and resources to these communities. While access to technology has made pregnancy possible for so many people, Marea discusses the mental and emotional struggles that are unique to these experiences and shares her many resources for navigating the process.
