Below the Bonnet

Jack Perkins joins the lads to debrief a (surprisingly) action-packed Winton SuperSprint, including shortcuts, penalties and the coveted co-driver cup. 'Perko' also offers some remarkable insight into his struggle with diabetes, including a pee test hack that changed the sport.

This week the lads tell a few tall tales, including Reynolds' egg, AVL's Supercars shunt, and the curious case of big chungus. Oh yeah, they also talk about the Mustang, capping costs, night racing and pick their ideal veteran co-driver.

Supercars CEO Sean Seamer – AKA DJ Sean Levan – drops by to chat about the future of Supercars, including engines, reality TV, new manufacturers, the 2020 calendar and so much more. He also reveals where all the money that Reynolds has to pay in fines ends up.

Ryan Walkinshaw joins the pod to talk about internet trolls, his former life as a DJ, living in Monaco, the time he met Reynolds as a work experience kid and just a little bit of aero parity.

Below the Bonnet 'The Peoples Podcast' is back for episode two. The boys talk about centre of gravity, parc ferme rules, Symmons Plains, the co-driver cup and Reynolds’ favourite Track in the world (spoiler alert, it’s not Bathurst).

In episode one of Below the Bonnet, drivers David Reynolds, Michael Caruso & journalist Andrew van Leeuwen discuss the first two events of the Supercars Championship, Formula One from the land down under in Melbourne, Australia.
