A quick Celebration Note: Today we are celebrating 10 episodes of our podcast and so thankful to all you who have been leaving 5 star ratings and reviews and especially for sharing us with your friends.
Jason Muxworthy wasn’t identified as Autistic until he was 47. He is such a delight to talk to and one of the funniest people I know. You will get a few laughs with us in this episode. Today, he is sharing his autism journey, insights into masking at age 8, distractions that derail concentration, seeing the positive gifts in autism and identifying PTSD as a late identified autistic.
The PTSD discussion is at the end of the episode so if this is something that may be too difficult for you to hear right now we understand. Jason describes how a flashback feels to him and his insights into realizing that PTSD isn’t just for soldiers. He also shares his favorite grounding technique and how to do it.
