Lotus Bloom’s Birth Story

In this very special episode, Teresa recounts the homebirth of her 5th baby, Lotus Bloom. From the wild chaos in the days leading up to labour to a last-minute pivot (and then a re-pivot!) in her birth plans and then getting sick right before the big day (it was a faaar from smooth lead up!) She also recounts the long stretches of prodromal labour, the rituals and tools that carried her through contractions and the funny and unexpected moments along the way. 

Tez also talks about getting into a super psychedelic state she as labour deepened, the profound joy of having all of her children present to witness their sister’s arrival and the magical moment she discovered her baby was a she!!
