In this episode, we are diving deeper into a couple of aspects of the healing journey that many women struggle with: body image and food fear. After episode 19 aired, where Emily and I went in-depth on hormonal shifts that occur during healing and symptoms that can arise, we had a lot of you reaching out about body changes. I wanted to do this topic justice and discuss it in more detail, and there’s no one I’d rather have here to help me than my friend Fallon (@fallondanae on IG).
Fallon is a mom to three boys, wife to her college sweetheart, and a kitchen creative turned business owner out of Dallas, TX. She launched Fallon’s Table to help bridge the gap between nutrition, easy kitchen prep, and delicious food! She offers calorie specific meal plans and recipes on her website and loves to walk alongside and encourage women in their pursuit of making peace with their bodies. Fallon has a long history of restrictive dieting and food sensitivities, and has watched her own health journey go from being limited to seven foods, to finding vibrancy and food freedom!
