In this chapter, both Jenny and Mairead write about a parents death - Jenny's Dad and Mairead's Mam.
Writing from their individual experiences about what people said in the first few weeks and how they both got through the toughest times of their lives. Lessons on understanding that everyone grieves in their own way - don't judge them, the fact that you can be happy and sad at the same time and how its the little thing that can cause the most pain in the aftermath - like no light on in the porch.
